I enable the simplified XML view, but nothing happens.

Question

I enable the simplified XML view, but nothing happens. My icons to see the code up top are still grayed out. How can I see the code to one of my pages? I need to see the code to a page a previous employee created, and no matter what I try, that option is still unavailable to me. Anyone know why or what I can do?

danielles84248496, I'm not clear what "enable the simplified XML view" means. Are you just saying that the XML View toolbar button is grayed out? If so, are you looking at a file that is in XML format, at the source? If it is a binary *.fm file, you can't enable the XML view because there is no XML.
