Question

I have very large file sizes for some documents.

Some of my documents are 5000 KB up to 7000 KB. Most of them are around 200-300 KB. I have a lot of graphics, but they are linked (not embedded). These graphics average about 25-60 KB in size. Even if I had 20 graphics, that would still not account for the large size..would it???

Does anyone have an idea how to minimize these files sizes?

I am using FrameMaker 11.

Thanks

Save as .mif, close .fm file, open .mif file, saves as .fm again – try with a copy of files for safety
