I need to upgrade from FrameMaker 11 to FrameMaker 2015

I need to know if my print settings - Adobe PDF (Copy 1) will be preserved. Also I can't find step by step instructions anywhere for upgrading. Do I need to uninstall my previous version? Adobe customer support is not helpful at all. Thank you for any input.

    No, you don’t need to uninstall FM11 to move up to FM2015, multiple versions play nice with each other. The only program that doesn’t is Acrobat – you don’t mention if you have the full version or just the headless one that ships with FM. If you already have the full one, make sure that you DON’T select the headless PDF Creator tool that comes bundled with FM. During the install, select the components you want installed, the PDF Creator should be listed inside the FM choice.
