When I save file as PDF the image background changed automatically from grey to white in Adobe Frame Maker Document. Please suggest me how to resolve it.

    Hi Amit

You are using a 30+ year old format for the logo: Windows Metafile (WMF) is an image file format originally designed for Microsoft Windows in the 1990s.

Logos should be designed in Illustrator. When you import an .ai file (not copy/paste) you will see a white background in FrameMaker (because FrameMaker is also 30+ years old), but it will not appear in the PDF or in print.

    Hi @Barb Binder

Please guide, when I save the file as a pdf, the background image of logo is changed on the first page. The interesting thing is when I print the document, the back ground color of logo is not changing. Pls check mailed file and suggest me the solution. Thank You!

What image file format is the image?
Is the background in the image itself, on a layer below it on the FM page, or on the master page?

It's in PNG, background is in below layer on the fm page. Body page not master page, pls see the screenshot.

    FM version?
Older FMs did not support transparency in raster images (other than clipping paths on EPS, and even that was gnarly).

Let's start with the basics - FM version, Structured/Unstructured FM.
Next, is it the image in the PDF that's changed or in the FM doc? Your wording is unclear.

FM structured version, image is in png. Image background is grey in FM doc but it's changed to white when I save it in the PDF. Pls check attachment, screenshot of both FM doc and saved PDF doc
