Hi folks,

I have a Quark 9 document that it would be handy to be able to import into FrameMaker... according to the info above, Frame 11 can only open Quark Xpress 3.3 or 4.1 files? Wikipedia tells me these were from 1992–1999. Does Frame11 not support anything more recent? (I don't yet have the Quark 9 source file in my possession to try!)

Not as far as I know. You'll have to do multiple backsaves from Quark versions or perhaps use the Markzware plug-in to convert to InDesign format and then convert from there. Quark versions greater than v.5 kept tweaking the proprietary file format and even InDesign quits at v.4.1x.
