Imported graphics by reference; resolution changes

I have placed my graphics into a specific folder so that i can import by reference. However, the software user interface has changed to wide screen. So if I do a new screen shot and save as the original file name I STILL have to adjust the resolution for each one. Anyway that this works automatically?

What exactly are you doing when you adjust the resolution? Are you trying to resize the new shots to fit the size of the older ones? If so then any adjustments should be a constant value. If you'r using FM11 or newer, you could create an object style for this scaling and apply it to all of the screenshots (use the Insets... pod to quickly see all of the imported graphics and jump directly to them).

Thanks for the reply. I use Snag It to capture the screens as BMPs. All of the anchored frames holding the images (by reference) are the same width; I adjust the height if needed. When I first imported the images, I set the dpi at 200% which worked for 90% of them. The GUI has changed to wide screen, so when I save the new image to the same file name, it is too large for the anchored frame. I have to manually adjust the dpi to 410 to get it to fit the frame.

    Does that help?

    Unfortunately using Framemaker 10.
