I haven't been able to figure our how to import old WordPerfect wp5 files into my templates. I have no trouble in the Frame 7 version. Can you give me some help on this. Fortunately I still have the FrameMaker 7 version installed on my computer.

Yes I am using FrameMaker 8. I'm not sure what line I should take the semi colon off. How do I get the filters 216-220?

    Thanks

Remove the semi-colons at the front of these lines in your maker.ini
file. These entries start at line 772 in my file. The starting line
may be slightly different in your version.

Or download the current Word Perfect evaluation version from the Corel site, use it to save out files as RTF, and open those in FM8.

    Donna,

Are you using FM8? If so, then the import filters for a number of
legacy products have been commented out in the maker.ini file.

Open this file in a text editor and remove the semi-colon ";" at the
start of a line to un-comment it.

The filters that you'll need are No.s 216-220.
