Question

In F12, table header cells with cross-references do not link in continuing table headers when saved as a PDF. The links only work in the table's initial header. Any solutions?

Hi Victor:

In the final version of the PDF, you could use Acrobat to manually add the links on the second and subsequent pages of the table heading row. Not ideal, but it would get you where you want to go. If you need a hand adding the links in Acrobat, let us know.

It doesn't work in an older FM (7), nor in the latest.

re: Any solutions?

Just the obvious one, in addition to filing a feature request. Split the table into separate similar tables by page.

And even then, you have to copy&paste the 1st heading set into each table.

How about Xrefs? Nope. Xrefs drop the hypertext as well (due to the Xref constructs having no building blocks for hypertext metadata, and by default, Xrefs want to hypertext to the source anyway, which would be the first-instance heading, and not the desired target).

Based on some old traffic, there may be aftermarket tools that can do the job.

No, I don't believe you'll get this to work.
