Installing Frame Maker 12 in Virtual Environment

I can install FrameMaker with no issue, but the activation does not carry over per user. Wants me to input serial per user. This is not viable in our non-persistent environment. I had no issues with FM9 in the past and with FM12 this is how I was told by an Adobe support rep to take care of it. I have tried using CCP and Application Manager, but those do not seem to work well with FM, unless I am just trying to do it wrong. If I could package the serial number into the install and be able to bypass the redundant need for an AdobeID (which was also told could be generic since we have a volume license) then I could get this to work. As long as the software is only used by the number of people entitled to this volume license I was told I would be compliant. Any suggestions on how to roll this serial into this install so the users will not be prompted after install?

I have run FrameMaker 12 with a volume license using both VirtualBox and Parallels with no issue (Win 7, 8, and 8.1). However, a virtual instance using a thin client is not something I tried. Adobe does offer a FrameMaker Server product but I don't know it it is appropriate for what you are doing.

Are you having a specific issue? Contact Adobe Support - install isues are usually freebie calls. Lots of Mac users are running FM via virtual machines. Are you trying to load it on a server instance? That probably violates your license.
