Insufficient Data for an image

Hello Guys,

 

After generating the PDF from FrameMaker, when opening the file I receive the message that there is insufficient data.

 

I looked for updates although apparently, I have the latest installed. 

 

Any suggestions?

    Check to see that your Windows updates are completely up to date - MS introduced a bug in printing recently trying to fix something else and supposedly have just sent out a "fix for the fix" July 17th/2021.

      Troubleshooting steps - what version of FM & what method are you using to create PDFs? Was it working before & now doesn't? Is it happening with all files or just some?

      Hi Jeff,

       

      FM 2020

      I am publishing the book as a PDF.

      I have done the same with a smaller file in the past, 2 months ago, and it worked.

      I get the same error for book and single files either if I publish or save as PDF. 

      When I select print to PDF then it opens correctly.  Although, for some reason when I chose to print the book it doesn't generate any file.
