Is Adobe PDF Maker compatible with FrameMaker?

My trial version of Adobe FrameMaker 2017 will not print my current files (I have been printing PDFs from Adobe FrameMaker 10 using Adobe Pro X (version 10.1.16) printer. And apparently my FrameMaker 10 has been hijacked because it will no longer print files on Adobe Pro X either.

Baffled.

What do I need to do/use/upgrade to create a PDF using the new FrameMaker?

Hi Ruth:

There was a recent update to Windows that is causing issues with creating PDFs from FrameMaker, so I suspect that is the issue you are dealing with. Take a look at this thread for a comprehensive discussion: Frame 2017 cannot print to PDF or PS or Printer as of April 6, 2018​.
