Question

Is there a limit to the number of conditional tags allowed?

I have a FM book with several chapters that contain 13 conditional tags in each chapter. About once a month, the book crashes and I get an internal FM error and I cannot use the FM book again and must recreate.

Is there a limit to the number of conditional tags allowed in a book or file?

Based on this report:

http://www.daube.ch/docu/fmaker25.html#objects

it appears that CC tags would be sharing a data structure with other FM objects that has a limit of 16 777 216 entries.

And that was at FM5.5.

I'm going to guess this isn't your problem.

Have you tried a MIF wash?

What version and subversion of FM?

What platform?

32 or 64-bit?

I do not know what a MIF wash is.

I have FM11 on Windows 7 64-bit

Are you all patched up? What’s your point release value of FM11?
