Question

Is there a way to control the amount of gap AFTER an anchored frame?

I'm in Frame 12.

I can find the place for gap beside anchored frame, but what about above and below archored frame? (like there is with tables, for instance)

Thanks in advance.

If you're following one of the often-used techniques that dedicates a small

paragraph tag (often named Anchor) to holding the anchor point, you can

adjust the space below of the para tag.

The tag is typically set up with just a couple points of font and never

contains text -- it's just used to hold an anchor point.

Actually, Art, my problem is with the amount of space (excessive) below the anchored frame. I'm guessing there is some kind of widows/orphans going on with the text which the anchored frame moves, so the very last line of the paragraph is indented as is the rest of the paragraph by the anchored frame (it's on the left). The result is a bunch of space below the anchored frame, which wouldn't be there if the last line of the paragraph didn't keep itself indented, but instead wrapped around the anchored frame.

Theresa,

It would really help if you post a screenshot showing what's going in a situation like you're describing (use the camera icon in the Forum reply box). Also turn on your borders and text symbols, if you don'tt have them visible.

It's not clear if you're trying to use the AFrame in a run-in mode or not, as you mention that you would like the last line to wrap around the AFrame. However, as Art says, the vertical spacing controls for an AFrame are controlled by the anchoring paragraph properties. That's one of the reasons to use a custom paratag for holding AFrames, instead of dropping it at the end of an existing paragraph. And yes, widow/orphan control and Keep With settings of adjacent, as well as the anchoring, paragraph will affect the behaviour and amount of space.
