Is there a way to drag an Illustrator or PhotoShop file from Adobe Bridge to FrameMaker 12 such that it is imported by reference?

Is there a way to drag an Illustrator (CC 2017) or PhotoShop (CC 2017) file from Adobe Bridge (CC 2017) to FrameMaker 12.0.4.445 such that it is imported by reference rather than copy? I'm using Windows 10.

No, not to my knowledge. However, if you use the new Fm 2017 Project Manager, you can do this.
