Issue Downloading Adobe TCS – Corrupted ZIP File

Hello!

I need to download Adobe TCS to install it on devices within my organization. However, I’m facing an issue: when I click the download link, the download starts normally, but after about a minute, the speed slows down significantly and the file is marked as “finished” prematurely. When I try to open the ZIP file, it turns out to be corrupted.

Is there currently a problem with Adobe’s download servers? I urgently need access to the file.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
Markus

Possibly, but since this is a user-to-user forum, we're unlikely to know. Have you tried downloading with a different browser? If the problem persists, ping the FM folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.

Thanks for the quick reply! I know this is a community forum, but I was hoping someone might have experienced the same issue and had a solution.

Your suggestion with the email address was already very helpful, thank you for that!

I did try using a different browser. Right now, the download is running more steadily, but only at around 300 KB/s, which is a bit odd. At least it hasn’t cut off halfway through yet. Still, it’s a bit annoying since the whole download will take about six hours.

Fingers crossed it works out in the end, thanks again!

    Best regards,
    Markus

I'm getting the same effect with that link - I suspect there's something going on at the Adobe end - a 7.2 GB file shouldn't take 4 hrs (so my Chrome reports) to download.
