log x is evaluated as ln x.

What went wrong? Why does FM8 evaluates log x as ln x. But it evaluates correctly when I write it as log10 x (Note: 10 is typed as a base). How can I correct this?

In mathematics, the natural logarithm (base e) is written log. Hence, log is the same as ln. The logarithm to base 10 is log10. That is, in mathematics, unless specified otherwise, the base of a logarithm is e, not 10 or anything else. Thus, FrameMaker is working correctly.
