mailto: no longer working in Fm 2020

Related to my post on hypertext markers...

It appears that this syntax no longer works for an email link:

message URL mailto:matt@techcommtools.com

Has anyone successfully inserted an email link into Fm 2020?

To what output paths? (e.g. PDF, HTML, eBook)
What's the failure mode?
No link created?
Malformed?
Looks OK but doesn't work?

And I imagine that Insert » Marker [Hypertext]
doesn't work around it (if that method ever worked).

I can make it work when publishing to PDF and HTML5 (message URL mailto:studio@smalbro.dk). I use "Go To Url" and insert the mailto:.
