Master Page TOC Error

Every time I update my TOC, I get the "No master pages applied because no master pages exist" error.  Does anyone know what causes that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    In the Update Book dialog you probably have set the Apply Master Pages option.

    Do you have set the UnstructMasterPageMaps on the Reference pages? Please check, if these settings are correct.

    Or do you have structured files?

    What's your FrameMaker version? Have you installed all updates?
