Missing Registered Trademark font(i.e. '\xa8' ) in FrameMaker

I am new to Frame Maker. When we were creating a PDF using Frame Maker & Distiller, we found Registered Trademark was missing on the PDF. Please guide me in this regard.

    Thanks for your reply. We already copied the Frutiger font from working server's windows Fonts folder to non working server windows fonts folder. Other characters are fine except registered trademark character (i.e. R in circle).

    Do we need to set/ edit anything on Frame Maker other than copying the fonts from windows fonts folder?

    Thanks for your reply. We are using Frutiger font.

    When I changed the font from Frutiger to Arial , I could see the registered trade mark. But we cannot use font other than Frutiger for this template. How to proceed?

    We have one more server which has no issues with registered trade mark for Frutiger font.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If the character you want is not a part of the font you want to use, you
    have three choices: edit the font (add the character to the font), use a
    different character, or use a different font.

    FWIW, the registered sign is part of the ANSI set (ALT 0174) and should
    be accessible from Frame or any other desktop publishing or word
    processing program in any text font. The facts that it works on one
    machine but not on another and that it works with one font but not
    another makes me think there's something wrong with the font.

    I would copy the working Frutiger over the nonworking one.

    I just reread this. What's a Registered Trademark? Registered is an R in
    a circle. Trade Mark is a superscript TM.
