Missing some heading in TOC of CHM and Index

Hi,

I'm using Framemaker 2020 V 16.0.2, I have published my book to Basic HTML and HTML Help

In both the Index file and the TOC of CHM file, some Headings are missing also one Step2+ style content got added in the place of TOC.

Note: The Legacy document was upgraded to 2020 and the new content was replaced.

Could you please help me resolving this issue?

You mentioned that the project was upgraded from a previous version...

Try removing your existing TOC from the book, and producing a new TOC for your book file from scratch.

Once the TOC is formatted, it should convert as you expect.

The TOC, I had created from scratch after deleting the old one.

Remove the special characters like + from the labels of your tags.

How many characters are in the file name?

Are you saving to a location on a Windows device?

If the # of characters in the file name is >256, shorten it.

The characters in the file name is lesser than 256.

Yes, It is a windows machine.

As in, the URL ?

Do you recieve the "X Cannot be found" error, or anything similar?

Yes, that's the screen - you don't seem to have told it to split the FM content up into topics.

After checking the Split in to topics box also the same issue persist. Could you provide any email so that i can send a sample project to you for analysing?

What does the Conversion screen look like when you select your paragraph tags for pagination?

Were your Index and TOC docs correct and updated in FM itself before publishing?

Hi Jeff,

Sorry Index I havnt created yet, The issue with only TOC.

Yes! TOC is updated before publishing. Even the TOC looks fine inside the FM, but after generating Two "1Head" is missing and "Step2+" one step came in a place.
