monitor size setting

How do I set monitor (scree) size in FM17 so that at 100% zoom the page is displayed in exactly the size set in Format > Page Layout > Page Size. This used to be available in versions up to 11 as a setting in Preferences or maker.ini as MonitorSize= if I remember correctly. It’s not there anymore and I don’t see any references to this anywhere. In FM11 I used to be able to compare a printed page to the displayed page for checking the margins, etc. I can accomplish this by setting a custom zoom setting, say 157%, but the other percentages won’t be clean numbers showing % sizing compared to full size.

Try it - in your \AppData\ copy, in the [Preferences] section add it:

    MonitorSize
Specify the size of your monitor, so that the document and dimensions you see on the screen (such as margins and objects) are very close to their actual size. The General settings in the Preferences dialog have an option Monitor Size.
    Sample Value: 17in
Include a unit of measure such as in, “, or cm, with the value.

It doesn’t work in FM17. Tried putting it in my user’s \AppData\ copy and in Program Files. The option is not exposed in the Preferences UI and I suspect no longer supported? Have they deprecated that notion, as if printing is dead and a 100% zoom doesn’t need to conform to the stated document size? Thanks for your help.
