    Hi,

As far as I remember FrameMaker 11 was a license to buy. This license does not allow to upgrade to newer versions.

The current version FrameMaker 18 is a subscription for which you pay each year (which I like as I am always allowed to upgrade to the latest version).

Possibly you upgraded to FrameMaker 18? Then you would have to purchase a subscription.

I do not remember, when FrameMaker switched to subscription only.

    Best regards, Winfried

Check to see that the Adobe ID you’re signing in with has the license for FrameMaker present. When you say “recently received patching” - how was this done and from what version were you on and what version are you now?
