    Hi @Carl24085347ay8j:

I see you are new here, Carl, welcome.

The Graphics toolbar is shown at below on the left and can be switched to horizontal orientation by clicking the tiny double arrows in the top left of the title bar. When changed to horizontal, it can blend in with the other horizontal toolbars and isn't immediately visible. As noted, it is accessed via two commands: View > Toolbars > Graphics Toolbar and Graphics > Tools.

Based on these words trying to open graphics tools inside anchored frame, I'm wondering if you are actually looking for Graphics > Object Properties, shown below to the right. Object Properties is context sensitive, which means it knows what you have selected and adapts its offerings.

When you have an imported image or anchored frame selected, it will look like the one below. If you have another object selected (like a text frame or a rectangle or a line segment), it looks entirely different.

    Hi,

What happens, when you check in View | Toolbars? Is the Graphics toolbar checked?

If yes, it's probably hidden behind something.

    Best regards, Winfried

    And did you restart FrameMaker?

The Graphics toolbar should open. It does not matter, if you have an anchored frame selected.

Does it appear if you aren't in the anchored frame?
