Not able to achieve correct PDF with FM 16 while using DITA

Hi,

We are migrating from FM 14 to FM 16. While doing so we have noticed that the DITA templates that were working for FM14 are not working in FM16.

For instance, we have modified the ChapterOutputTpl.fm to change the properties pf "title.0" and "title.1" as should below in the snip.

Now when we are generating the PDF the output is taking the modified properties of title.0 but not of title.1 as shown in the bleow snip.

Other than this the overall template with modified page layout, document properties, table properties, charater and paragraph formats is not getting picked-up at all except for title.0 format.

 

Whereas he same ChapterOutputTpl.fm was giving correct PDF output with FM14.

Please help in resolving the issue.

    It sounds like someone made modifications to the files used to display DITA in Fm 2017 (Fm 14)

     

    If you understand how to work with the structapp.fm files (Structure>Application Definition>Edit Global Application Definitions), you'll need to make the same mods to the Fm 2020 (Fm 16) template files by either updating the 2017 files and replacing the ones in the 2020 installation directory, or by importing paragraph styles or other things into your 2020 files from the 2017 template files.
