Object styles unexpectedly appearing on master page frames

(FM11)

I created an object style to apply borders to screenshots that are integrated by reference. It works: the borders are the same on all screenshots.

I now notice that the object style is "applied" to text frames on the master pages of that chapter.

I do not recall applying the object style anywhere other than body pages.

What happened?

Did you save to MIF at any time? There were some odd behaviours in FM11 with the Object Styles that got exacerbated whenever MIF was involved. These appear to have been rectified in FM12. There were other phunnies as well, but the MIF was the nastiest.

At any time -- before or after creation of the object style?

I don't recall exactly, but I think that's highly likely.

Where is the list of bugs fixed in FM12?

I think it happened after the Object Style was created and then went to MIF.

I don't think there is an official list of bugs fixed for the release. There are lists of fixes in each patch for a release though.
