Old FrameMaker files to PDF

What are my options for converting a ~2001 ,fm file to .pdf?

Any later version of FM can open any older .fm file. Expect dialogs about fonts and maybe formats.

If you don't have the original or a newer FM, and just have this one document to recover, the trial version of FM'2015 might suffice. You'd have 30 days to get the job done.
