paste across multiple rows/columns in table

How to copy / Paste across multiple rows/columns in a table.

Copy into buffer one <text> from Word into Untitled.fm works fine.

However cannot copy and paste a row of 5<texts> into existing table row in FrameMaker 2017

"No table cells on the Clipboard"

Please advise
