Please help with invisible window

When my laptop is docked, I work on two monitors, and when it is undocked I work on the laptop monitor alone.

Here is my situation:

Setup: FrameMaker 12 running in Windows 10.

I need to bring up the Customize Text Frame... pop-up window to reformat the text frame in a master page.

I control-click on the frame, then go to Format -> Customize Layout -> Cusomize Text Frame ...

The mouse turns white and I don't see the pop-up window. The main framemaker window becomes unresponsive, indicating that another window is active and has the focus now, but I don't see this window, even if I resize the main window of framemaker, so I'm thinking that the Customize Text Frame window wants to be displayed on a non-existent monitor; a common occurrence after a crash.

Is there a way to reset the location of these windows in FrameMaker? Is there an .ini file I could edit for this purpose?

I hope this all make sense!

    The actual file, in FrameMaker 12 at least, is called ModalDialogPosition.ini

    To solve my problem, I shut down framemaker, opened this file and cleared its content. Like every well behaved program who utilizes .ini files, FrameMaker has default values for all these entries which it uses to recreate the content of ModalDialogPosition.ini. By clearing this file, FrameMaker repopulates its with its default values (basically, all modal dialogs appear centered).

    Voila.

    The widow positions are stored in each user's custom maker.ini file. IIRC (I don't have windows machine right now), it's in the C:\Users\<login user name>\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker[version no.] folder [or something similar].

    The window information typically consists of to sets of numbes: top, left and height, width. Adjust as needed to get the desired window back on screen.
