We are using FrameMaker 12 version 12.0.4.445. I first print to a postscript file and afterwards create a pdf file using Adobe distiller. We use the Helvetica World font in the document. As we print out the pdf file on a printer using Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.6, some text is missing.

 

Any and all assistance will be great on this.

Try using the SaveAsPDF route and select the RGB option.

Thanks a lot, this works! However, if I mark the CMYK option, FrameMaker crashes.

The CMYK option had(has) issues using some OTF Pro and WGL-World TrueType fonts.

Unless you are preparing output for press-work, just ignore the CMYK option.
