Hello,

In FM, I have noticed a problem of hyphenation, where there is an empty space after the " - ", like here (see blue arrow). Why ?

Hi,

When I change the language of this paragraph to French and check the hyphenation of this word in the FrameMaker spelling checker (via the Edit menu), I get: ac-cueille

"cueille" would be too long for the remaining space.

I do not know, if this is the correct spelling. You can change this manually via the spelling checker. Or you can insert a discretionary hyphen (CTRL+-). Or you can deactivate the hyphenation for this word (ESC n s).

However, when you have text in different languages, I would switch off the hyphenation in the paragraph designer.

Best regards, Winfried
