re: version 8 patches

When re-installing Frame 8, I thought I had a problem.

It turn's out that the oldest patch available won't run, not because it needs a previous patch, but because the installed version includes it.

TCS1 installs 8 p266, so the later patches should work.

Anu ideas on how to make the updater work?.

Thanks

Jay

The link in Harpreet's post resolves to the list of downloads that I was referring to.

An additional download that I didn't comment on is this:

Version 8.0
Adobe FrameMaker 8 with Windows XP SP3 fix652.2MB7/15/2009

That seems to be the entire Frame installation, like you'd find on a CD/DVD.

However, it is standalone, and I wanted to keep everything installed as part of the TCS suite, for  whatever advantages that brings.

If your installation media is lost, or if you only have version 8.0.0 of Frame, the above is your solution.

Jay

If you're a volume licensing customer, you can also retrieve your original download files through the licensing website.
