rename file issue

i want to rename frame maker files both on book and disk but frame gives me a message that it will move the renamed file on the disc and looses cross, hypertext links and other informations, so i end up giving them all again a new path,

is there something i can do??

Rename the book component files from the Book menu (not in the system file manager).

It will do so in place, but will make backup copies under the old names.

The book file itself can be renamed in FM or fm, or just Save-As from Book menu.
