Repeatedly receiving "Unresolved Cross Reference" error

I keep receiving the "xxx.fm contains unresolved cross references" error, despite repeatedly deleting the old reference, inserting a new one, and saving the document. How can I make the cross reference remain permanently in the document once I insert it?

    After correcting/reinserting the x-refs again and unchecking/rechecking the Remember Missing Font Names checkbox (I was also receiving the unrecognized font error as well), I ran the list of unresolved x-refs and this time the error was not reported. Previously the same two x-refs (the ones I repeatedly repaired) were reported as unresolved but they seem to have cleared up. Thanks for your help!

    Did you run a list of unresolved xrefs in the doc? There may be more than one present.
