Responsive HTML5 encoding problem in the Search column

I am having an issue with Adobe FrameMaker's Responsive HTML5 output. The search function is rendering punctuation marks and special characters (e.g., ",',>, etc.) with HTML code instead of the unencoded character. The image is a screen capture of the help system. Note that HTML code is used in the results column on the left side of the image. Frame version is 17.09.866.

Yes, I second the idea of updating - according to this thread (

) it’s been busted & fixed a couple of times. If the latest version doesn’t fix it, then fire up the Tracker and log a ticket with the FM folks.

What version of FM are you running to produce this HTML5 output?

    Hi,

You should update to 18.0.0. I do not know all the bugs which were fixed, but possibly yours is one of them.

    Best regards, Winfried
