Question

Reversing 'right align' (or 'left align') of anchored frames when switching direction

Hi,

For this client, the source content is written in English. Images are set to 'run-in' and right aligned. So they appear on the right side of the page, while the text is on the left sde.

Now these documents are translated into Arabic. Direction is reversed: text goes right to left. But the images are still right aligned.

We'd like to have the alignment for anchored frames reversed as well. Is that possible? Or should we add a feature request?

Thanks,

Wim.

I'm not sure whether the following will help you, but you can try it.

When I had a similar (though not identical) need, I went to Format -> Document -> Direction, and reversed the direction.

    It worked for me.

    Regards,

    Shalom

    Hi Shalom,

My use case is a bit more complicated. We're using XML. When opening the XML, the template is applied. Then the 'right align' is not reversed.

    Thanks,

    Wim.
