Right Click Group

Am I missing an update or something, or did they take away right click group in a frame in FM10? It is missing,.....funny thing is you can right click ungroup when things are grouped.

Why do I have to use ESC gg to group all objects in a frame?

I used to use Ctrl A and right click group. (Wish I could use Ctrl A and Ctrl G like other programs.) Can I change the shortcuts?

Thanks,

ls

Group is there on the right-click menu of FM 10 for me, but it is

context sensitive. It only appears on the menu after I have selected

multiple items to group. Likewise, Ungroup does not appear, unless I

click on a grouped set of items. Have you selected multiple items to

    group before right-clicking?

Thanks....! I tried again on a couple of things. Found that you have to be hovering over a pic and not any white space for the group to show up.... Thanks a bunch!!!

You can customize any and all menus & shortcuts in FM. The info is in the older Customizing Frame Products manual at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/framemaker/online_manuals.html (see "Customizing" link).

You could also get Shlomo Perets' "Express Customization" kit at http://www.microtype.com/resources.html

There is info include in the kit about how to customize your menus over above the new ones provided.

Additioanlly, Klaus Daube has information on Toolbar and menu customizations on his site at: http://www.daube.ch/docu/fmaker63.html
