Question

Run-in Head-Default Punctuationn

Im using Framemaker 9.0p237

When I set a paragaph tag to use Run-in Head and set the default punctuation to a period followed by two spaces the format of the punctuation remains the same as that of the side-head tag. I am developing documents in accordance with a Military Standard (MIL-STD-961) and the punctuation is supposed to not be underlined.

I know I can not use the underline fopr the paragraph format and then manually underline the required text but I am really hopiong thaat there is a way to automatically accomplish the task.

Thanks

How about reversing the logic? Set the punctuation as the lead-in autonumber of the paragraph following the Run-in and have no default punctuation in the run-in.
