Question

run into para not working in FM 2020?

What are the possible reasons for why Run Into Para setting on an anchored frame wont work? The text appears above and below the frame, it is not wrapping, i tried setting the image inside the frame to run through contour, but that didnt work, any advice in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Bob's correct...the runaround settings only apply to objects that are "page-anchored" (placed in a graphic frame, not an anchored frame) and not to those placed in an anchored frame.

Does the Run Into Para behave when you remove the runaround properties from the graphic?

hi matt, no, text still doesnt rap when i change the image run around settings, BUT, I figured out a solution. In the Publish settings, I go to Style Mapping, then I edit the Numbered style, which is the text I want to wrap, in the Block category I select "inline" as for the Display field. This is likely more a workaround solution than a standard ut it did work.

As Rick mentioned, a screenshot with text symbols showing would help us solve your problem.

Can you post a screenshot with Text Symbols visible?

I just opened an FM2020 document from earlier this year, and the RA images appear correctly. So we might need more detail on the layout in your case: column dimensions, anchored frame dims, Style applied, gap, etc.

As for run-around contour, that doesn't appear to work the way we might like. My recollection from playing with it last year was that it only applies to images directly on the page (which is generally not ideal document stewardship), or in the case of anchored frames, to text inside the frame (which has Flow implications).
