Save as pdf: acrobat distiller missing

I am trying to save a Frame Maker file (14) into a pdf but I cannot do it in RGB.

I can only save using CYMB format and my colors get messed up.

It happens I do not have Adobe Distiller which I think is the problem.

Do I haveto purchase Adobe DC in order to get Adobe Distiller or is there any way to get this software somewhere else?

    Hello,

I found the solution to my problem.

It does not really make sense to me but I installed the font called AdobeHeitiStd (cf error message above) and now I can generate the pdf in RGB mode.

I still don't understand how this could block RGB pdf to be generated and not CMYK but my problem is solved.

    Thank for your support.

    Best regards,

    Etienne

    Hi Etienne:

There are radio buttons that allow you to select between RGB and CMYK when you choose File > Save as PDF. Are they not working? And what Job Option are you using?

    Hello,

Thanks for trying to support me on this one.

I can select any of the 2 radio button.

Issue is when I select RGB no pdf at all is produced whereas when I select CMYK I do get a pdf but the color are "wrong".

Below you will find the automated report generated by FM when selecting RGB and trying to create a pdf:

    <<

    %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%

%%[ Error: undefinedresource; OffendingCommand: findresource ]%%

    Stack:

    /CIDFont

    /AdobeHeitiStd-Regular

    {--pop-- 4 --index-- --add--}

    /AdobeHeitiStd-Regular-hf

    /WinCharSetFFFF-H

    /AdobeHeitiStd-RegularH

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

    >>

For your information a collegue of mine can generate the RGB pdf without any issue.

    Best regards,

    Etienne
