Question

Saving a PDF so cross-references and bookmarks open to fit page view?

Right now, when I save a PDF, clicking a cross-reference or bookmark will jump to the destination and align it to the top of the screen in Acrobat.  What I need to have happen is that when you click the link it will show the full page view.

i.e., If I have a cross-reference destination at the bottom of the page, I need to be able to see the full page and not just the paragraph that the cross-reference is linked to.

Is this possible without having to redefine all of my links after saving out the PDF?

Thanks.

Not as far as I know - why would you set up your links that way if that's the effect you wanted?

We need to link to a specific location so if content moves pages it still goes to the correct location, but the customer preference is to have all PDFs open to the fit page view.

If you had linked to the topic header on each page, then it would always follow any movement of content around - but frankly wouldn't be as useful as a link (IMHO).
