Searching for graphics imported by copy

Greetings,

I'm in the process of sanitizing a document and need to find all instances of graphics that are imported by copy and not referenced to a file on disk. Is there a way to find those? I can search for anchored frames in the Find/Replace dialog, but that includes referenced graphics too (which is the vast majority).

Best regards,

Mats

    Use the Insets pod. View > Panel > Insets. You can sort insets by Type and how they're referenced, and you can use the Filter at the end of the toolbar to see all the insets in a document.

    IMHO this can only be done by scripting:

    Loop through all AFrames

    Analyse the graphic objects in an AFrame

    If it has no refence to a file - it must be a copied one.

    This can be done by hand in a MIF of the document file(s).

    The by-ref graphics imports will have:

    <ImportObFileDI `<v\>C:<c\>path<c\>morepath<c\>filename.typ'>

    <ImportObFile `C:/path/morepath/filename.typ'>
    The copy-in objects will lack that, and instead present great swaths of ASCII hex code. One I tested lead off with:
    =PNG

    As I recall from having scripted path re-writes once, there are other types of imports than might need a look (e.g. Text Insets), plus things not otherwise in Anchored Frames.
