Serie an Bildern exportieren

Hallo Miteinander,

ich habe vor einigen Jahren in Framemaker die Möglichkeit gehabt, viele Bilder aus einem bestehenden DOkument an einen neuen Ablageort verschieben zu können. (Auswahl Quellordner der Bilder und Zieltordner der Bilder; danach wurden diese Bilder in dem neu angegebenen Zielordner abgespeichert.

Ich weiss nun nicht, ob dies ein Plugin war oder eine Serienmässige Funktion von Framemaker ist.

WIe bekomme ich dass hin? Wenn nicht, wie heist dieses Plugin.

    Hi Jochen,

    this was not a FrameMaker functionality for sure. In FrameMaker 2015 you can use > File > Package... to collect all the graphics of a document that are located in the same folder as the document or in subfolders and "pack" them along with the document.

    If all the documents graphics are in the same folder, you can also simply move this folder, while the document is closed. When you reopen the document, FrameMaker will ask you where the images are. Just browse to the new folder, select the graphic FM is asking for and make sure the radio button "Update Document To Use New Path" is selected. FM will now look for all "missing" graphics (referencing to the old location) in the new folder and automatically re-link them.

    Hi Stefan,

    thanks quite a lot for the answer.

    The challenge is the company I work for uses Framemaker 9; At this stage no change to change the version; Cost-issue, you know.

    Do you know the any module with which relocating only the graphics used within one Framemakerdocument, in order to ensure not copying graphics not needed to the new folder?

    If not, are there any other possibilities?
