Sharepoint services 3.0 and pdf editing

Hi!

I have the next configuration:

     -Client: Windows XP, Adobe reader XI

     -Server: Sharepoint services 3.0

I cant add a comment to PDF file directly in Sharepoint. I haven't check in/out option, is like the file only read.

Can you help me, please?

    Taking Sharepoint out of the equation for now – was the PDF created with Commenting enabled? Can anybody else comment on the PDF? Does it work if you do check it out of Sharepoint?

    Yes, the PDF was created with commenting enabled and anybody can comment on the PDF.

    Cheking out of Sharepoint, I can add comments.

    I don’t work with SP at all – were you expecting to be able to comment with it still checked in?
