Spell check doesn't find all that is wrong

As this was a migration from FM7.2 (which supported only ASCII and some LATIN1 extensions) to FM2022 (which supports Unicode-BMP), I'm wondering is there's any possible issues arising from:
☐ allow-in-document embedded spelling dictionaries, or
☐ character encodings

When opening a pre-FM8 document in FM8 or later, it does some Unicode conversion. This clearly includes internal-use characters, but I've never explored how document characters might be handled.

If any of these Swedish characters were present, did their former \xHH codepoints get shifted to their U+HHHH Unicode codepoints?

There is a chance these words were added to the Personal, Site, or Document dictionaries in the Spelling Checker.

Use the Dictionary Functions to export the Document and Personal dictionaries and check for the words giving you trouble.

I just checked, if text in text frames in anchored frames would not be spellchecked. Yes, spellcheck.

In your screenshot the text is probably in text frames and therefore does have a paragraph format assigned. Can you check which paragraph format this is and which properties it has?

Are these words in real paragraphs with a paragraph format? Those have a language and can be spellchecked. Still it could be that the paragraph format has the language None assigned. Then the text would not be spellchecked.

Or are these text lines without paragraph format? No spellcheck.

Or does this text have a character format with language None assigned? No spellcheck.

In your screenshot the text symbols are not shown. Always recommended!
