    Hi,

I do not know, if this is what you mean:

In the Spelling Checker pod you can write all words that are unknown to a file. (Dictionaries | Write All Unknown Words to File)

Then open this file with a text editor, correct the words and then import into your personal dictionary.

This is explained in the online help:

    https://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/using-framemaker/user-guide/frm_text_tx-dictionaries.html

    Best regards

    Hi Winfried,

    thanks for the reply.

I need to automate spelling checker process - ex. changing spelling checker properties, importing personal dictionary and starting checker and reporting all the spelling errors in the log file.

    thanks.

    What version of FM?
    (recent versions have live spell-checking
in addition to the classic Edit » Spelling Checker dialog)
What is it you desire to automate?
(that ☑ Automatic Correction doesn't do)

I am not absolutely sure, but I don't think so. If I get some time later, I will poke around, but I am pretty sure it is not exposed to ExtendScript.
