strange word import

Hello,

First I have created a new document with these settings :

So it created a document with one single page.

Then I have done File/Import/File and chosen a Word document.

So I have imported the Word document inside the FM document.

Problem : FM has imported the Word document inside the FM document but with facing pages (instead of single pages). Why ?

But I have set this document to be "single sided" ("recto"), so I don't understand why I have facing page.

In View | Options change Page Scrolling.

Variable or Facing Pages is what you see.

Have you checked the pagination setup? FrameMaker can display pages like that, without them being single sided.

Format -> Page Layout -> Pagination
