.sts file reverse engineering?

I have been using FM 2019 for years, on a Windows 10 pc, publising pdf, chm and repsonsive html5. (The upgrade to FM 2020 didn't include a sts file upgrade, so I decided to stay with FM2019.)

This week my PC died, and I got a new one. This one running Windows 11. I installed FM 2022 and converted one of my FM 2019 documents. The pdf came out perfect. But the sts file conversion from FM 2019 to FM 2022 didn't turn out well. Font and other formats were lost, both for chm and resp html5.

Can I from a FM 2019 chm file extract the sts file contents?

Can I from FM 2019 responsive html5 files extract the sts file contents?

(I can spend some time manually entering the sts values in FM 2022, if required.)

I'm not positive, but I think the sts file is an archive. Try renaming it with a .zip extension and see if you can access what's inside. You may be able to unzip it to a series of folders to extract or update the contents. Then you would rezip it and rename it to .sts. Make sure you back up everything. There may be some "magic" in the archive that may get clobbered by your efforts. But it's worth a try.

I recall Stefan posting something along those lines early on in FM2022's release. A search of the forum might turn it up.
