Table Numbering

As Bob pointed out, the paragraph is picking up the value of a previous paragraph. Either there's a series indicator, or it's the "unlabeled series" (it's without a series indicator, which is in itself a series)

There  will be another paragraph style (the one that displays with the x-1 value in your fm file) that's already using the unlabeled series, or using the series that your table title format is using.

Change your table title paragraph numbering properties, either by:

• adding a series indicator (use an uncommon character to avoid conflicting with other series)
• change the series indicator to something else, something not used in other tags.

Try Z: or Y: or $: for starters.

I would start by removing the overrides on the TableTitle tag. When you copy/paste into a Fm doc, you will typically get overrides, which allow for inconsistency, and that is what you are describing. After the overrides have been removed, then you can build the numbering format that you need, and Update All.

First thing to check is whether the tables are all using the same tag name, typically, TableTitle, then whether the Autonumber properties for that are all using the same Series Label, typically "T:".

If correct, then we get into issues of where the tables are anchored - within Anchored Frames, perhaps on disconnected pages, possibly even in a main flow that is not Flow A.
