Table Related: Blank Page/White Space issue

I have 2 Questions, they are both related to Table:

1. In one of my document, a Table Anchor starts on Top Of The New Page, I do not know why (in paragraph tag, it is not set to Anywhere).

Next, the rest of the page is blank, and Table starts on the following page, should not Table be displayed in the next line from the Table Anchor?

2. I also have another table which is Multi-pages long. In this table some of the rows are split between pages (obviously because it is multi-page long table), however, top row on Page 2 (which is only 3 lines) could have easily fit on Page 1 (which is half blank), but I do not know why FM8 and FM12 is splitting rows in this manner.

Any response will be appreciated. Thank You.

Correct answer Arnis Gubins

It's probably a combination of the widow/orphan settings for the table rows and perhaps some Keep With settings for the rows that is causing the issues. The Widow/Orphan settings are controlled in the Table Designer and the Keep With settings are individually applied to the rows via the Table menu Format > Row sub-options.

Thanks Arnis,

Widow/Orphan Settings & Keep With (Next/Prev) Settings did the trick.

A bit complicated to figure it out, but issue was related to Widow/Orphan & Keeping With Settings.

Once again, thank you.
