TCS 2's Original DVDs are lost:<

Hi there,


I've lost the original DVDs from the Technical communication Suite 2.0.

I've contacted Adobe systems & they sent me the TCS 2.5 Backup DVDs.


With the 1st DVD there is no problem.

Since in Version 2.5 following softwares have new versions,


Captivate 5

Photoshop CS5


the problem is, I have the license for TCS 2.0 which supports


Captivate 4

Photoshop CS4


& during the installation of Adobe Photoshop CS5 "Backup DVDs TCS 2.5",

I get the message:

- This serial number is not valid for this product. -


I also received another download version of Photoshop CS4 from Adobe,

but the Serial number "TCS 2.0" does not wort.

I guess the Photoshop CS4 is standalone, & that's why it does not work.


Since 2 weeks ago, I've been calling Adobe systems, & yesterday I just gave up.

Untile today I saw this forum & thought to give it a try.


Adobe does not have the Backup DVDs for TCS 2.0.

Adobe has sent me the Download Version of TCS 2.5 & Backup DVDs. They do not work as I mentioned.

if anyone

has the Trial DVDs TCS 2.0 or

has the Backup DVDs TCS 2.0 or

might have upgraded to 2.5 or 3.0 & DOES NOT NEED the TCS 2.0 DVDs,

may help me out.

Hi everybody,

it's gone baby, gone:>

I just received a 30 Day Trial Version from a German Company.

I was searching in google & since I also know German, I thought, let’s give it a try & searched it in google Germany. I found a blog, which belongs to a German company. Back then in 2009 the company got 20 exemplar of TCS 2.0 30 Day Trial Version & sent them to their customers. I wrote them & explained the situation & happened to be lucky. In fact the got 1 of them left.

I really appreciate their 1st Class HELP.

Yesterday I received the package “Original Adobe TCS 2.0 Paper CD Sleeve with 2 DVDs”& installed it.

During the installation, there is a step, which asks whether you want the software as Trial “30 Day” or put your serial number. There was no problem with my license “Had registered under my name.” & I’m enjoying it.

I though, If I share this issue, it may help somebody or at least gives some clue how to challenge such a thing.
